So after kjorteo posted about “The Raccoon Who Lost Their Shape”, I had to try it. You should really read her post because it will be better-written than mine by a large margin.

That's… some summoning music. (Also flashy sequence, for people who might have visual sensitivities.)

I'm not sure how I feel about the music in general. Also the interface is a little overbearing, but I got used to it. (The unoverridable animation delays on the dialogue boxes with only a few words in them are annoying.)

It is indeed a charming series of scenes with a light story creme flavor and little chunks of cinnamony candy in the form of the block text in the interludes. ❤

She also said it was “highly quotable”. I am already agreeing heavily a few seconds in, so I'm just going to be jotting these down as I go. There's going to be a number of these, and I'm going to put them in a separate sorta-spoilery post.

One last thing, slightly exaggerated for effect.

“It is difficult to explain to a non-shape. There is a mathematical importance that runs through the core of our being.”

Okay I understand that this is kind of a tainted resonance in context but even so YES THIS PART IS MY JAM OH MY GOD MATHSOUL REPRESENTATION
