Pair-o'-'gons / flockmind. (Thus, very plural and kinda numberfluid.) Feathery dragonthings, primarily. She/they, mostly.

Drackel, n. One of the presumably-eusocial, reconfigurable, semi-intelligent birdlike creatures who compose Chalcedony and their ‘aura’. Also presumably applies to others of the same genus, should any ever show up, though they don't seem very common around here. They're not strictly birds, and they're not necessarily detachable from each other, depending on how they're currently set up, but that's sort of the base state. Etymology: from “dragon element” by analogy to “pixel” and “voxel”, influenced by phonetic similarity to “grackle” (but note the differing endings).

System members and pseudomembers:

• Illum [α] and Teneb [β] are sorta-twins who are the primes and main front.
  The majority of them is not uncommonly “stacked” into a compound arrangement, which is Chalcedony proper.
  They are also known as Quartzwing and Metiagon when more individuated from each other.
• [×] is sometimes used as an “unrecognizable source” marker.
• No marker implies blendy, unclear, or general/pseudo-singleton. There's some other influences to that whose models are currently not available to the outside.
• Lightspar [γ] (previously [=]) was a pony walk-in who's wound up traveling elsewhere and rarely makes contact nowadays for connectivity reasons.

These markers used to use parentheses, but it became easier to merge them with the square brackets that hold other quick-visibility post metadata in the subject lines. Illum and Teneb at the time used (+) and (−), which conveniently could form (±) and (∓) when they stacked, but those symbols took on some inconveniently conflicting meanings elsewhere, so they shifted to [α] and [β].
