*wakes up* if the RNG has an equal chance of generating any possible sheep layout and can be forced by external inputs then we may be able to brute-force it down to a 27- or 28-room path in TAS, and if it's a 32-bit RNG it's still possible something in that vicinity will work, but if it's a 16-bit RNG then our chances are much worse, and if the code explicitly spreads the sheep out by e.g. picking from different pools then that whole approach may be unworkable *yawwwn* also does speedrunning broadly recognize “centaur” approaches where there's mechanical information support but the player still has to do all the inputs as a category? since that seems like it'd be between Original Recipe and Tool-Assisted but I bet it's rarely done *squawk* okay I should probably have breakfast shouldn't I
